Opportunities

Occasional part time remote work on a 1099 basis. Could include drafting and posting program info to our website and Facebook page; creating marketing emails, flyers, slideshows or materials, as directed. Experience required, with samples of your work we can view.  Must have own computer and work at home, and be proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc), WordPress and Constant Contact (or similar email marketing software).  If interested, please send a resume, including links to some of your work, and your hourly rate, to: admin@farmofpeace.org.

We periodically need someone to cook for groups on an hourly or daily basis. It could include menu planning, shopping and doing dishes as well. Ideally you’ll have experience in menu planning and special dietary needs (like gluten free).  Must be able to work quickly, preparing multiple dishes by specific mealtimes and serving “family style” (no steam table).  We strongly prefer someone committed to organic /clean cooking using whole foods.   To apply, please email our Admin office with your background,  some recent references, and how far ahead you schedule your work. Applicants may be asked for an audition by cooking a meal in our kitchen. Admin@farmofpeace.org.

We have periodic need for volunteers to help with the following: basic maintenance tasks (painting, minor fixes); grounds care: weeding, pruning,  mowing and weed-whacking; zoom hosting /tech support; helping with programs (set up, clean up, staff a table, kitchen prep/dishes and other things as needed); periodic clean-up of farm buildings, etc.  To volunteer, please email your skillset and areas of interest to our acting Executive Director, EDir@farmofpeace.org.
