Traditional American holidays are celebrated as well, such as Thanksgiving when the Farm hosts a turkey feast. Old and new friends gather to give thanks and experience a day of gratitude.

American New Year’s Eve is traditionally an all-night prayer vigil where beloveds share their intentions for the new year. At midnight, everyone takes a lively break for treats, embraces, and new year’s wishes. And then, we enjoy a pancake breakfast on January 1st. Other times throughout the year may also offer opportunities for ā€œkhalwa” (a holy night of prayer, and no requirement to stay all night!).
