Garden Harvest Volunteer Day

CSA stands for “community-supported agriculture.” A CSA is a community of members who support a farm, with the farmer and the members providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production.

Then join us on Fridays 9am-1pm in harvesting the bounty of the garden! Each household of volunteers has the opportunity to take home a portion of the harvest that day.

Meet at the pole barn and begin with a  brief orientation on sanitation and safety procedures during your first volunteer day.  Most volunteer tasks will take place in the pole barn and kitchen, helping to bunch and bag produce in preparation for CSA shares and farm market attendance.  Should you express interest in garden harvest as well, we can accommodate that in time.  The intention is to place people where they feel most aligned in body, mind and spirit and we have faith that it will unfold with grace as our team continues to expand and work in collaboration.
